Gone serious

My 10-year old daughter and I dabbled with this game one afternoon at the MGM Grand Hotel in Las Vegas. After getting back to the San Francisco Bay Area, I decided to seriously study the game in my free time.

I picked four books to supplement what I've been learning online via Sensei's Library.

I just discovered your blog and I look forward to reading through it. I see your progress and you are doing well. I haven't been able to play many 19x19 games but enjoyed studying and reading from the books. I'd be considered a rank beginner.

Thanks! You've been at the blog for a little over a year.

Hello Ben!

Thanks for reading my blog. I hope it helps in any small way.

My progress is actually rather slow (or so some folks have told me) although I must say that it's not that easy to advance when one's life has a lot of other responsibilities and activities.

Still, I very much enjoy this game and will continue to blog for as long as it keeps my interest. It's been a fun roadtrip and it's only been one year!

Best Regards,
- ChiyoDad
